Jesus was born of a virgin, suffered under Pontius Pilate, died
on the cross and rose from the grave to make worshipers out of
rebels!
AW Tozer, Whatever Happened to Worship?, pg 11.
Wow do I like this quote - and wow do I need it this morning. I'm much more of a grumbler than a worshiper today!

The spirit is willin', but...
It's always going to be a struggle in this life I'm afraid. Our desires are what they are, even being a new creation in Christ. Yet, through His grace and if we live by faith, then we can overcome and actually have fruit, (the fruit of the Spirit), in our lives: Love, joy, peace, godliness, gentleness, kindness, goodness, righteousness, assurance, and even more fruit.
And in 50 years from now you and I will be with our Savior, and enjoying His being with us face to face. His present love will be like something we always dreamed of, and yet never experienced.
Gal. 6:14
So true. I referred to another of A.W. Tozer's great thought this morning on my post with this sort of idea: Nothing is as important as what we think about God, and nothing is as important in that thought, as Jesus.
Blessed, Merry Christmas to you and your family, Susan.
