Among Other Things
Some of the waiting is done - see the photos below and you'll know why - but some remains - jobs and such. And, with this posting, you'll know what skulduggery the mother of the bride has been up to and forgive my lack of posts in the last two months as there was MUCH sneaking to do.

Congratulations to Olivia and Drew from both Deb and I! So I wonder just how much of the sneaking really did get past Olivia!
Very nice photos and one very happy couple! Many blessings on this couple for many years to come as the Lord tarries. The Lord make their home to be a blessing to many.
Likewise as Ted! Congratulations to Olivia and Drew.
Lovely ring. Happy Christmas dear Susan. I'll try to email today.
Love Llama xx
Warm congratulations Drew and Olivia!
PS: It feels like dejavu. A long time back in one of your posts I mistakenly thought Drew was the one who put the engagement ring on a chess piece.
Genuine smiles like those say a lot.
Have a Merry, and grace filled Christmas Susan!
These pictures are priceless!! Congrats all the way around! I read the story over at "the boy's" blog. What a thrill! Next time you eat Turkish, bring a doggie bag, will ya?
A Happy New Year to One and All from deepest wintry Europe!
Wow what a good looking couple and give them the best of luck from this little family in little old England! Yes if only I had wings and could fly I would love to flap over and take some piccies of the wedding.
I hope 209 is a great year for you my friend!
Love Martin
Happy New Year Susan, and a blessed new year to all who read here!
Lovely ring on a lovelier hand. Blessings!!
So what exactly did this "skullduggery" amount to? LOL!
Oh, hidden feelings, hidden intents, ring designs, secret trips to the jeweler, secret conversations, hidden and half truths (I was so happy to be able to evade the truth without having to outright lie - apparently I'm much better at evading that anyone ever knew!), figuring out ring sizes without raising suspicions, arranging for appropriate places to dine in case weather turned inclement.
And that was just on his side.
On her side, there were more hidden things, like the amazing and wonderful dress that I had to talk her into the store to even try on. Lucky for me she thought it the most amazing, fairy tale princess and wonderful dress ever and decided she wanted it no matter who she married...... or I'd have been in a fix! Then there was the surprise dinner at the Turkish place that was supposed to be a birthday surprise for him - but I had to tell him - and then convince her that one place was better than another (better place for a proposal) for not so obvious reasons - and convince him that the outdoors ice rink with 40mph gusts of wind probably wasn't the best place to drop to one knee with a fragile, antique, soapstone jewlery box with something that a pickpocket would love to swipe in it....
Yes, for one know for not doing well with fibs, or even keeping good secrets like Christmas gifts, I must say, I did quite well!!!
